A Day of Creativity, Colour and Celebration
The much-awaited Razzmatazz 2026 Youth Fest began with a vibrant and energetic Day 1 dedicated to off-stage competitions, setting the perfect tone for the celebrations ahead.
The day commenced with the lighting of the lamp, symbolising the beginning of a day filled with creativity, talent and healthy competition. This was followed by the opening ceremony, where our Principal, Rev. Fr. Melwin Ferrao, officially declared the fest open.
In his inaugural address, Fr. Melwin spoke about the significance of the word “Razzmatazz,” which refers to lively, exciting and showy activity that captures attention. He beautifully connected the meaning of the word with the spirit of the Youth Fest. He reminded the students that the true victory was not merely in winning a prize, but in having the courage to come forward, participate and showcase one’s talent. According to him, every student who stepped onto the stage or took part in an event was already a winner.
The competitive spirit came alive through a wide range of creative events conducted class-wise. The competitions included: Edible Jewellery, Complete the Drawing, Art Out of Mystery Box, T-Shirt Painting, Salad Decoration,Leaf Arrangement, Fashion Out of Waste, Best Out of Waste, Bottle Decoration, Mandala Art
Each competition brought out a different dimension of creativity. Students transformed ordinary and unexpected materials into imaginative works of art, while others displayed their artistic skills through painting, drawing, decoration and innovative presentation.
The creative efforts of the students were evaluated by Mrs. Siddhali Parab and Mrs. Kirti Sulokar, who appreciated the enthusiasm, originality and quality of the artwork displayed by the participants. Their appreciation further encouraged the students to experiment, think differently and express themselves with confidence.
The entire day was filled with activity, excitement and a wonderful competitive spirit. Classmates cheered for one another, participants eagerly awaited the results, and the school campus remained buzzing with creativity.
As Day 1 drew to a close, the atmosphere was already gearing up for the much-awaited Day 2, promising an even greater celebration of talent, entertainment and youthful energy.
Day 1 proved that in Razzmatazz, participation itself was a victory—and every student who dared to create, compete and contribute was already a winner.
