On August 29, 2026, the campus of Don Bosco High School and Junior College, Oros buzzed with scientific curiosity and creative energy as the institution hosted its highly anticipated annual Science Exhibition with the theme ‘Innovate Today, Sustain Tomorrow’. The event was a grand celebration of student ingenuity, blending analytical thinking with artistic expression across all age groups.
The day commenced bright and early with a solemn inauguration ceremony at 9:00 a.m. in the school assembly hall. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Sambhaji Rajaram More, alongside our respected dignitaries: Rector Rev. Fr. Paul D’souza, Principal Rev. Fr. Melwin Ferrao, Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Ronald Vaz, and the distinguished panel of competition judges. The dignitaries addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to nurture their inquisitive minds and look at science not just as a subject, but as a tool to solve real-world problems.
Soon after the inauguration, the school transformed into a dynamic arena of activities as various competitions commenced across different age categories.
The highlight of the day was the spectacular display of science projects. The young innovators of Standards 1st to 4th proudly presented intricate 3D Science Models, demonstrating a remarkable understanding of foundational concepts. Meanwhile, the senior students from Standards 5th to 12th took things a step further with impressive Working Models. From renewable energy generators and hydraulic bridges to robotics and eco-friendly smart city blueprints, the working models reflected weeks of dedication and a deep grasp of complex scientific principles.

- Standards 8th to 12th: Engaged in fierce intellectual battles. The senior groups participated in a debate competition, a rigorous science quiz, and an elocution competition, articulating their thoughts on modern scientific advancements and ethics with immense confidence.
The level of student participation across all activities was phenomenal, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and mutual learning. As the morning of exploration concluded, the school gathered once again for the felicitation program.
