Where Talent Took Centre Stage
If Day 1 was a celebration of creativity, Day 2 of Razzmatazz 2026 was a celebration of talent, confidence and entertainment! The much-awaited On-Stage Competitions brought the campus alive as students stepped into the spotlight and showcased their skills before an enthusiastic audience.
The day began with the lighting of the lamp, marking the beginning of another exciting chapter of the Youth Fest. This was followed by the opening ceremony, where Deacon Sunil Almeida officially declared Day 2 open. In his opening address, Deacon Sunil reminded the students that everyone was a winner simply because they had the courage to participate, come forward and showcase their talents.
The stage soon came alive with a spectacular line-up of events including Stand-Up Comedy, Cosplay, Monoact, Folk Dance and Don Bosco Has Got Latent. Each competition brought something different to the stage, giving students an opportunity to express themselves through humour, acting, dance, creativity and performance.
The Stand-Up Comedy segment was an instant hit with the audience. The participants displayed remarkable confidence and comic timing, filling the venue with laughter and creating an atmosphere of pure fun and enjoyment.
The Cosplay competition was a visual treat, with students transforming themselves into a fascinating variety of characters. Class XI Commerce presented an array of gaming characters, Class XI Science brought the Horror Express to life, while Class XII Commerce presented the Dashavatara. Class XII Science showcased a creative presentation featuring different divine avatars. The effort, imagination and attention to detail displayed by the participants made the event one of the highlights of the day.
The Monoact competition gave students a platform to portray characters and emotions through individual performances, while the Folk Dance competition filled the venue with rhythm, colour and cultural vibrancy.
One of the most anticipated events was “Don Bosco Has Got Latent,” which truly lived up to its name. It became a genuine talent showcase, providing students with a platform to reveal skills that might otherwise remain hidden. The performances reflected the confidence, originality and diversity of talent among the students.
The competitions were judged by a distinguished panel comprising Deacon Sunil Almeida, Ms. Rozan Khan and Ms. Pretty Fernandes. Their observations and appreciation encouraged the participants to give their very best.
Throughout the day, students participated with tremendous enthusiasm. The cheering, laughter, applause and energy from the audience made the atmosphere electric. More than just a competition, Day 2 became a celebration of self-expression, courage and youthful talent.
In his concluding remarks, Rev. Fr. Melwin Ferrao, Principal, appreciated the remarkable efforts of the students and observed that they had set the bar remarkably high. He expressed the hope that the following year would see the standards rise even further.
After adding the points earned across both Day 1 off-stage competitions and Day 2 on-stage competitions, Class XI Commerce emerged as the Overall Winner of Razzmatazz 2026!
Their consistent performance, enthusiastic participation, creativity and talent across the two days earned them the coveted Overall Championship.
And with that, Razzmatazz 2026 came to a memorable close—a Youth Fest where every participant was a winner, but XI Commerce emerged as the champions!
