A Memorable Freshers’ Day Celebration (Jr. College)

The Freshers’ Day celebration organised by the seniors of Class XII on 23rd July 2026 was a truly wonderful and memorable experience for all of us juniors. We arrived at the college dressed beautifully and were warmly welcomed by our seniors. The venue was beautifully decorated, creating an exciting and cheerful atmosphere. The entire arrangement reflected the hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm of our seniors, making us feel special right from the beginning.

The programme began with a fantastic welcome ceremony, followed by an inspiring speech delivered by the Cultural Secretary. Her encouraging words motivated us and made us feel more connected to our college journey. Later, our Principal, Rev. Fr. Melwin Ferrao, shared a few words of wisdom with us, guiding and inspiring us with his valuable thoughts.

Our seniors surprised us with thoughtful gifts-handmade bookmarks decorated with motivating quotes. These small yet meaningful gifts made the occasion even more special. They also treated us to delicious samosas as snacks, which everyone enjoyed. The celebrations continued with entertaining performances by the Class XII students, including a graceful dance and a hilarious skit that filled the hall with laughter and joy.

After the performances, we were divided into different teams and participated in several fun and unique games organised and hosted by our seniors. These activities brought everyone together and created many joyful moments. We had a wonderful time interacting with our classmates and seniors while enjoying the exciting games.

The celebration concluded with everyone dancing together, including our Principal, which made the ending even more memorable. The Freshers’ Day was not just an event but a beautiful experience filled with happiness, laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

We sincerely thank our Class XII seniors for putting in so much effort and making this day so special and unforgettable for all of us. It was truly a day that we will cherish for a long time to come.
